From 7–9PM, we're celebrating the release of The Chain House by J.H. Markert, the twisted new thriller from the author of Sleep Tight.

Here's the premise, if you dare: a notorious cult leader sits on death row... claiming to secretly be a famous anonymous novelist. Dark, layered, and exactly the kind of story that makes you side-eye the person next to you at the bar.

This isn't your typical book release party. This is J.H. Markert himself, in the flesh, ready to sign your copy while you sip something organic, something craft, and something a little unexpected, courtesy of Crop Organic Spirits.

Join us for Golden Hour Sessions – Session 5 on Thursday, October 8th, as we welcome Andy Burch to 3rd Turn Brewing's The Church for another evening of intimate live music, laid-back conversation, and everything we love about the shift into fall in J-Town. From 7:30–9PM+, we're inviting you to slow down, unplug for a while, and simply enjoy the moment... if the room lets you.

Golden Hour Sessions was created for the locals, for neighbors looking to unwind after work, friends catching up over a pint, and anyone who believes live music is best enjoyed in an intimate setting instead of a crowded concert venue.

This month's featured artist, Andy Burch, brings a set built for the season: moody, atmospheric, and just a little bit haunted, the kind of music that feels right at home echoing through a 100+ year old church as the light fades early and the air turns crisp. Think golden hour with a shadow creeping in at the edges.

Whether you're discovering a new favorite musician or just looking for an excuse to spend an autumn evening with good (and slightly spooky) company, you'll find a seat waiting for you.

Enjoy our weekday drink specials, explore one of our seasonal cocktails, or settle in with your favorite local craft beer while the music fills The Church, pews and all.

Featuring The Cure, Depeche Mode, Siouxsie and the Banshees, New Order, Bauhaus, Joy Division & more — the sound of 80s goth-pop and new wave, all night long.

Put on by The Official Louisville Silent Disco — the crew bringing you the headphones, the glow, and the three channels of chaos.

We are preparing our best chili for this year's hop. Be ready to get the best JTown has to offer. More than that prepare to vote 3rd Turn Brewing as best chili of 2026.
