Join us on Tuesday, August 11th as 3rd Turn Brewing's The Church welcomes another unforgettable Book Social, presented in partnership with Book Social 502 and Carmichael's Books. This month's gathering brings together two incredible storytellers for an evening exploring the creative journey from novel to screen—and everything in between.

We're excited to welcome Archer Sullivan, acclaimed author of the Annie Gore novels, alongside Scott Sullivan, writer and executive producer of Reacher. Together, they'll share stories about the writing process, creative inspiration, publishing, television, and what it takes to bring unforgettable characters to life—all followed by an engaging interview and audience Q&A hosted by Local author James Markert.

Whether you're an avid reader, an aspiring writer, a fan of great television, or simply someone who loves hearing the stories behind the stories, this is a night designed for curious minds and meaningful conversation.

On Saturday, August 15th, 3rd Turn Brewing's The Church is throwing it all the way back with our 90's & 2000's Hip Hop Silent Disco, hosted by the Official Louisville Silent Disco crew. From 8–11PM, we'll be turning the dance floor into the ultimate throwback party where every beat brings back a memory.

This month's featured headphone channel is dedicated to the golden era of Hip Hop—the songs that filled your first iPod, blasted through car stereos, and somehow you still know every word to. Of course, you'll still be able to switch between Pop, Hip Hop, and Best of the Decades R&B all night long, so whether you're chasing nostalgia or following the beat, there's always another song waiting in your headphones.
