B.Y.O.F. FRY with The BHA
Saturday August 1st
You bring the fish... we'll bring the party.
Get ready for one of the most unique summer traditions you'll find anywhere in Kentucky.
Join us on Saturday, August 1st for B.Y.O.F. — Bring Your Own Fish Fry, as 3rd Turn Brewing's The Church teams up with Backcountry Hunters & Anglers for an evening celebrating great food, live music, cold beer, and the outdoors. From 6PM until close, we're turning the brewery into the ultimate community fish fry with a tailgate-style atmosphere that's all about bringing people together. This will be set up in our back parking lot - there is limited seating so if you would like to bring your own chairs, we welcome that!
Wondering how the fish fry works? Think of it like a family camping trip or a weekend at the lake. Throughout the evening, trusted chefs, hunters, and anglers from the Backcountry Hunters & Anglers community will be serving fresh, responsibly sourced fish that has been carefully inspected, properly handled, and prepared with the same attention to cleanliness and food safety you'd expect from a professional kitchen. It's the kind of fish fry built on trust, tradition, and sharing a great meal with your neighbors or a Church Fish Fry! If you are interested in sharing something you've caught or a type of fish you are proud of, come and see us in person at The Church during Open hours and connect with Chef Lee. He will coordinate with you on how to integrate yours into the Fish Fry.
For just a $10 donation, you'll receive a hearty fish fry plate featuring: Freshly Fried Fish Crispy Golden Fries Homemade Coleslaw
Every single plate sold is a direct donation to Backcountry Hunters & Anglers, helping support conservation efforts, public lands, wildlife habitat, and the outdoor traditions that bring so many Kentuckians together.

SALSA IN THE SANCTUARY #4: MERAKI DANCE COMPANY'S 9th ANNIVERSARY
Friday August 7th
For nine incredible years, Meraki Dance Company has been building a dance community one step, one song, and one friendship at a time. Now it's time to celebrate them.
Join us on Friday, August 7th as 3rd Turn Brewing's The Church proudly hosts a very special edition of Salsa in the Sanctuary, celebrating Meraki Dance Company's 9th Anniversary! From 8PM–2AM, we're honoring the talented team that has inspired thousands of dancers throughout Louisville while transforming The Church into the city's home for salsa, bachata, and unforgettable community nights.
Presented in partnership with Meraki Dance Company, this anniversary celebration is a tribute to nine years of passion, instruction, performance, and the welcoming dance community they've created. Whether you've been dancing with Meraki since day one or you're taking your very first salsa steps, this is the perfect night to celebrate everything they've accomplished together.
Never danced before? Perfect. Join the beginner's lesson at 8:15PM, led by the Meraki team, before the dance floor comes alive for an evening of Latin music, incredible performances, and nonstop energy.
And of course, no Salsa Night would be complete without fresh Tamales by our Favorite Mexicana Chef, Rosario, alongside Tequila specials, handcrafted cocktails, craft local beer, and plenty of non-alcoholic options to keep everyone refreshed between dances.
There's something magical about watching the Sanctuary come alive with music, laughter, and dancers beneath the historic ceilings of The Church. Every month this community grows a little bigger—and this month, we're taking time to celebrate the people who helped build it.

PINTS + PATRIOTS DAY
Saturday August 8th
This August, let's raise a pint to the people who have served our country—and to the community that stands beside them.
Join us on Saturday, August 8th for the very first Pints & Patriots Day at 3rd Turn Brewing's The Church in the heart of Historic Jeffersontown's Gaslight District. From 4PM until close, we're bringing our community together to honor our veterans, support veteran-owned businesses, and celebrate the hometown spirit that makes Kentucky so special .
It's about recognizing the men and women who have worn our nation's uniform, supporting local veteran entrepreneurs, and creating a place where neighbors, families, and friends can gather over good food, cold beer, and great conversation.
Throughout the afternoon and evening you'll find:
Veteran-owned Local Vendors Complimentary Tastings & Special Features from our official sponsor, Larrikin Bourbon Co. Beer Specials with a portion of proceeds donated in support of the event Live music from Marine Corps veteran Andy Burch | 7–9PM Authentic Cajun favorites from Momma Rose Authentic Cajun Cooking | 6–9PM
Whether you're a veteran, active-duty service member, military family, or simply someone who wants to show appreciation for those who have served, there's a place for you here.
Our hope is that Pints & Patriots becomes more than just another event—it becomes an annual tradition where the Historic Gaslight District comes together to recognize service, support local businesses, and strengthen the community we all call home.
Bring your family. Invite your neighbors. Shake a veteran's hand. Support a local business. Raise a glass.
